Wipro GE Healthcare, PPHF provides CSR support to Delhi hospital –

The isolation center at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RMLH), New Delhi and Kandhya Bhawan, Ramanagara District, Karnataka, which has been becoming a fanatical COVID-19 referral hospital, is supported through the CSR efforts of Wipro GE Healthcare (WGE) and its NGO partner People to People Health Foundation (PPHF).

“The manner during which the govt, healthcare sector, companies, and society has close to unravel the challenges arising out of COVID-19 is actually outstanding,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, director, Wipro GE Healthcare.

WGE has also partnered with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka to support this isolation center with 50 Isolation beds and an ICU consisting of nine motorized beds.

RMLH houses 90 isolation beds and a fanatical ICU consisting of 30 motorized beds. so as to make sure the safety of doctors and frontline healthcare workers at RMLH, WGE, and PPHF has also provided 500 PPE kits for doctors and 500 N95 masks for frontline healthcare workers.

The Government of Karnataka has transformed its administrative office at Kandhya Bhawan, Ramanagara District into a fanatical COVID-19 referral hospital. WGE and PPHF have also provided 500 PPEs and N95 masks to make sure the safety of doctors and frontline healthcare workers in Bengaluru.

“An unimaginable crisis has surrounded us, and our collective response will save lives. PPHF being a public health organization is collaborating with private sectors and increasing its support to the govt of India on strengthening the health system infrastructure by providing life-supporting medical equipment and supplies to COVID-19 hospitals, supporting healthcare workers on infection prevention and supporting hygiene promotion activities within the community,” said Dr. Laxmikant Palo, CEO, PPHF.
