Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDC India Ltd, announced that on July 22, 2023, during the 7th Tranche of Rozgar Mela, Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi virtually issued appointment letters to 111 newly recruited THDCIL employees as part of the nationwide Rozgar Mela – Mission Recruitment Drive. 

According to Sh. R.K Vishnoi, these appointments included Executive Trainees in Human Resources and Public Relations, Engineer Trainees in a variety of technical fields, and skilled workers. The project aims to empower talented young people around the country by connecting them with prospective work opportunities.

Sh. R.K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDC India Ltd, spoke on the occasion and expressed his joy at the successful recruiting drive. He emphasized that during the first six months of the fiscal year, from January 2023 to June 2023, the company made 14 Regular Basis appointment offers and an additional 90 Fixed Term appointment offers. In the previous year, 2022, the corporation successfully hired 108 executives, engineers, and laborers on a regular and fixed-term basis. Furthermore, throughout this fiscal year, THDC India Ltd has provided offer letters to over 375 individuals for Apprenticeship Training, underlining its commitment to nurturing and developing new talent in the power sector. 

He went on to say that THDC India Limited is ambitiously positioning itself to capture Hydro, Thermal, and Renewable Energy sources, in addition to coal harvesting, in order to contribute to the country’s socioeconomic development. As a result, he noted, THDCIL has been aggressively working toward its mission of increasing employment possibilities.
