State Level Energy Conservation Painting Competition – At the Corporate Office in Rishikesh, THDC India Limited hosted a State Level Painting Competition-2023 on Energy Conservation for school students from Uttarakhand. This event, organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India, reflects THDC’s pivotal role as the Nodal Agency for Uttarakhand in the National Energy Conservation Awareness Campaign. Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, emphasized the importance of effective collaboration between THDC, the Ministry of Power, BEE, the State Government, and other stakeholders in ensuring the success of the campaign.

Sh. Vishnoi reported that a total of 1,69,787 students from 283 schools across Uttarakhand enthusiastically participated in the THDC State Level Competition, outnumbering the previous year’s total of 1,50,388 students.

State Level Energy Conservation Painting Competition

The award ceremony was presided over by Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel) THDC India Limited, who presented First, Second, and Third Prizes of Rs. 50,000/-, Rs. 30,000/-, Rs. 20,000/-, and 10 consolation awards of Rs. 7,500/- to winners in both Group A (Class 5th, 6th, and 7th) and Group B (Class 8th, 9th, and 10th). Miss. Shatakshi Vatsh of Acharayakulam Haridwar took first place in Group-A, Miss Arushi Singh of Acharayakulam Haridwar took second place, and Sh. Dev Singh of St. Mary’s Sr Sec School took third place. Sh. Ronit Raj of Acharayakulam Haridwar, Miss. Aarohi Chaudhary of St. Mary’s Sr Sec School, and Sh. Yakshraj Singh of Acharayakulam Haridwar finished second and third in Group-B.
