SJVN met CAPEX utilization target of 90% for first time

SJVN met its CAPEX utilization – SJVN achieved a record 90 percent CAPEX utilization target set for FY 2021-22 a quarter ahead of schedule in December 2021, according to Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, CMD. SJVN ranks second among Central Power PSUs in terms of CAPEX budget usage. With a usage of Rs 4510 crores, SJVN emerged as one of the Top Performers among CPSUs. 
 
SJVN is investing CAPEX in a number of ongoing projects in the hydro, thermal, wind, and solar sectors. CAPEX utilisation is a measure of how quickly and how much work is being done. 
 
Sh. Sharma went on to say that the use of Rs 4510 crore in Capex in the first nine months of the current fiscal year is a significant achievement for the company. The company is on track to reach its targets, given the speed at which development on numerous Projects is progressing. 
 
He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Union Minister of Power and NRE, Sh R.K. Singh, and the Ministry of Power for providing direction and regular evaluations to help expedite the pace of Capital Expenditure.
