Sigachi Industries get top 100 SME Award 2022

In the recently ended 9th edition of the India SME 100 Awards 2022, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Minister of State for MSME, Government of India, presented Sigachi Industries Limited with the top 100 SME Award 2022. 
 
“We are looking forward to additional expansion for the industry within India,” said Amit Raj Sinha, MD and CEO of Sigachi, “with the budget allocation for MSMEs virtually doubling this financial year to Rs. 15,700 crores.” The boost to incremental industrial innovation, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry – which is a stronghold of Hyderabad – is undeniable. SMEs play a critical role in India’s growth story, employing more than 40% of the country’s workforce.” 
 
“India has around 65 million SME enterprises delivering a diversity of 6,000 products,” stated Vinod Kumar, President of the India SME Forum. Through recruitment and CSR initiatives, these SMEs actively contribute to the Indian economy and microeconomic growth for a certain locality. According to statistics, the SME sector accounts for 6.11 percent of manufacturing GDP, 24.63 percent of service sector GDP, 16 percent of all bank financing, 40% of exports, and 45 percent of manufacturing output.”
