Azure Power fully commissions its SECI project in Rajasthan
SECI project in Rajasthan – New Delhi: Azure Power, a prominent provider of sustainable energy solutions and a power producer in India, has completed the commissioning of its 300 MW ISTS-connected solar power project, Rajasthan 8, which was allotted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The plant is located in Bhadla, Rajasthan, and the power generated is sold to SECI at a rate of INR 2.58 (US $3.7 cents) per kWh for a period of 25 years.
Azure Power has now operationalized 2,683 MWs of high-performing renewable energy assets in India as a result of this. “Despite health and supply chain problems in the last two years, we are incredibly pleased with the progress we have made in operationalizing our under-construction projects.
So far this scale year, we’ve operationalized about 700 MWs, demonstrating our outstanding project development and execution capabilities “Azure Power’s MD and CEO, Ranjit Gupta, states.
