Scope – Inclusive Budget for all

The top organization for public sector businesses, SCOPE (Standing Conference of Public Enterprises), commends the Hon. Finance Minister for presenting a “growth-oriented inclusive budget for all” that places emphasis on infrastructure improvement, environmental protection, and skill development while maintaining fiscal consolidation.

Mr. Atul Sobti, Director General of SCOPE, expressed his appreciation for the budget while stating that it is anticipated to have a multiplier effect in both the social and economic sectors.

“Overall, a good budget that is likely to give the country the push it needs to play a global role through landmark outlays for infrastructure strengthening, new schemes, incentivizing domestic industries, focusing on inclusive development, impetus on skill development, moving toward simplification of regulations for ease of doing business, and green initiatives leading to a net zero economy,” he added.
