SBI donates money to NGO for buying a school bus
SBI donates money – Bhopal: The managing director of State Bank of India’s retail and digital banking division handed a cheque for Rs 21.55 lakh to the Nitya Seva Society, a city-based NGO, for the purchase of a school bus.
CS Shetty, the MD of the bank, told a press conference in Bhopal that the bank was engaging in a variety of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes across the state as part of its country-wide CSR efforts.
During the epidemic, he added, the bank supplied medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, personal protective equipment kits, ambulances, and computer laboratories, among other things.
