SAIL Vision Statement Survey – The Go Live of SAIL Vision Statement Survey for SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) , SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), and associated units was launched by Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge (DIC), RSP with the additional charge of BSL in a glittering ceremony organised on 18th November, 2023 at ‘Manthan’ Conference Hall.

Mr. S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works), Mr. P K Sahoo, ED (Projects), Mr. Somnath Tripathy, ED (MM), Dr. B K Hota, ED (M&HS), Mr. Tarun Misra, ED (P&A), Mr. Alok Verma, ED (Mines), Mr. A K Behuria, ED (F&A), many Chief General Managers were present on the occasion while the Executive Directors and Senior Officers of BSL, SAIL Refractory Unit (SRU), Collieries, Odisha Group of Mines and Jharkhand Group of Mines attended the meeting through video conferencing.

The DIC also revealed the survey questionnaire link and invited everyone to take part in the massive exercise in order for it to be fruitful.

It is worth noting that plans are in the works to collect the perspectives of each and every SAIL employee in order to create the Vision statement, which will determine the company’s future roadmap.

Mr. Bhowmick, highlighting the significance of the unique campaign in the fast changing business landscape, stated, “The new vision statement will be crafted through a bottom-up approach, emphasizing active involvement and input of each employee.”  Mr. Bhowmick discussed the importance of a Vision Statement in influencing direction, inspiring people, setting goals and objectives, motivating employees, and assisting in the development of a long-term focus for both management and employees. “Each and everyone of you has valuable insights and perspectives that can contribute to shaping our new vision,” he said in his speech.

Ms. Rajashree Banerjee, CGM (HRD), in her welcome message, quickly summarized the entire exercise and the coordinated efforts of the core team involved in the entire campaign.  At the conclusion, Ms. Sunita Singh, CGM (PP&C), presented a formal vote of thanks.
