REC Power Development celebrates foundation day

REC Power Development – A division of REC Limited called REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited recently marked its 16th anniversary. The RECPDCL praised the work of its staff as part of the occasion. The Honorable Minister thanked the artists and achievers for their contributions. 
 
A wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Ltd., REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) (formerly REC Power Distribution Company Limited) was established with the particular purpose of developing and investing in energy distribution and its related activities. 
 
The business takes advantage of opportunities provided by Sections 4 and 5 of the 2003 Electricity Act. This Act aims to exempt them from obtaining a licence for distribution and retail supply while allowing them access to the electricity sector.
