RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RailTel), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, and Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to form a collaborative partnership in the fields of information and communication technologies and electronics equipment manufacturing.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri Sanjai Kumar, CMD of RailTel, Dr Anesh Kumar Sharma, Director (Technical), ECIL, and senior RailTel and ECIL officials.
The MoU establishes a framework for leveraging mutual strengths and capabilities in the fields of ICT, Homeland Security, Cloud Services, Mission Critical Communication, and electronic equipment manufacturing related to safety critical applications to efficiently serve the country’s technological needs and to collaborate in the field of strategic electronics in domestic and international projects.
This will benefit both companies by leveraging each other’s expertise to deploy cutting-edge solutions in India and around the world.
