HPCL makes foray in Bhutan’s fuel retail market – The first gasoline station in Bhutan has been rolled up in partnership with State Trading Corporation of Bhutan (STBCL) by Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL), a Government of Bhutan entity. The commissioning of this site marks HPCL’s foray within the retail petroleum industry outside of India, and fuels the company’s aspiration to expand into new regions.
To have a better service given to the customers we deployed the staff which is trained at our Skill Development Institute in Visakhapatnam and the outlet has the simplest of infrastructure facilities including full-automation, HPCL said during a statement.
HPCL may be a subsidiary of Indian state-owned Oil and Gas Corp (ONGC). the corporate owns 16,194 out of 68,032 petrol pumps in India.
