BHEL Tenders Power Conditioning Units for NTPC’s 20 MW Solar Project in Gujarat – Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has floated a young for five MW of power conditioning units (PCU) for NTPC Limited’s 20 MW solar project in Gandhar, Gujarat.
The last date for submission of quotes is August 17, 2020. The tender involved four 3-phase grid-connected PCUs housed in one 5 MW container or two 2.5 MW containers.
Quotations were invited under a two-part bid system for the availability, installation, and commissioning of those units alongside a comprehensive annual maintenance contract (AMC) for ten years.
According to BHEL’s pre-qualification criteria for the tender, bidders must be original equipment manufacturer (OEM) with service centers in India. they need to have experience supplying and commissioning a minimum of ten 2.5 MW PCUs for solar projects in India within the last three years.
BHEL also said that in the technical evaluation, the credentials of the seller would be submitted to NTPC for final approval. It added that only the worth bids of technically qualified vendors approved by the NTPC would be considered for further processing.
Recently, BHEL issued the tender for the availability of 104 string monitoring boxes, four wireless receiver systems for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and other spare components for NTPC Limited’s 20 MW solar project in Gandhar.
Previously, BHEL issued an invitation for a quotation for the availability of module mounting structures for Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited’s solar projects within the state. The quotations are invited for the availability of 720 metric plenty of superstructures of module mounting for a 75 MW solar PV project at Dhuvaran in Gujarat. The materials supplied should have a guaranty of 18 months, as recently another operation and maintenance tender for a 15 MW solar project at Charanka solar park in Gujarat was issued by BHEL and project belongs to Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd.
