Tata Chemicals bags 3rd position & 2 Gold level awards at CII “Six Sigma National Competition” Award 2020
Mumbai: Tata Chemicals bags 3rd position & 2 Gold level awards – Tata Chemicals, a number one sustainable and science-led chemistry solutions company, has been conferred with the 3rd position and two Gold level awards for its ‘Limestone Undersize Reduction’ and proper studies at the ‘Improve Effluent Solid Utilisation’ project case 14th edition of the CII National Six Sigma Competition 2020. This recognizes Tata Chemicals’ efforts and commitment towards setting a transparent path for future sustainability and maximizing stakeholder value through its projects.
Competing in manufacturing and services, this year ‘Limestone Undersize Reduction’ project case study in manufactory and within the ‘Improvement projects in Manufacturing and Operations’ category and also bagged the gold level award. This project enables achieving rock bottom variable cost of sodium carbonate through staple undersize reduction as Tata Chemicals’ project case study titled ‘Improve Effluent Solid Utilisation’, focused on improvement by increased effluent solid utilization, also won the gold level recognition.
