BSE-NSE deals: Vedanta sells 2.79 lakh shares of Adhunik Industries – Resources sold quite 2 lakh shares of Adhunik Industries during a bulk deal on Monday. Cupid, PVR, Aavas Financiers, HEG, Jiya Eco-Products, Matrimony.com, also witnessed bulk deals.
As the equity indices extended their gains for the second straight session as positive results from another Covid-19 vaccine candidate bolstered investor confidence globally as rupee started to recover and unabated foreign fund inflows added to the momentum after BSE Sensex gained around 195 points to 44,077, while the 50-share Nifty index advanced 67 points to 12,926.
Here’s who bought and sold what in a number of the key bulk deals of the day: After shares of Adhunik Industries at Rs 13.31 per share were sold by Vedanta also 7,44,279 shares of Matrimony.com at Rs 643.90 per share by SBI open-end fund bought while CMDB II sold 9,00,000 at Rs 644 per share.
PVR at Rs 1,265.67 per share, by GemAsia, acquired 4,25,000 shares of Shares of the corporate settled 3.86 per cent higher at Rs 1,275.90.
Maven India Fund sold 2,51,831 shares of Veto Switchgear Cable at Rs 71.20 per share.
Nomura India Investment Mother Fund purchased 9,00,000 shares of Aavas Financiers at Rs 1,515 per share. SBI life assurance Company also bought 6,60,000 of the corporate at an equivalent price. On the opposite hand, AU Small Finance Bank sold 35,00,000 shares at Rs 1,515.16.
