The Power Minister addressed Pumped Storage Projects

NEW DELHI, INDIA- With officers from the Ministry of Power and CMDs of Hydro CPSEs, the Hon’ble Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R K Singh, discussed the state-by-state status of Pumped Storage Projects (PSPs), their development roadmaps, and the identified abandoned coal mines suitable for the development of Hydro PSPs. 
 
Furthermore, the Ministry has begun a new exercise for 2022 and has created a two-phased Action Plan for 2022. The first phase will run until March 31, 2022, and the second phase will run until August 15, 2022. 
 
The Action Plans for 2022 of the Ministry of Power and its Sub Nodal Organizations (SNOs), namely BEE, CTU, POSOCO, CEA, and CERC, were recently reviewed by Shri R.K Singh, Union Minister of Power.
