PFC Signs MoU with Ministry of Power for FY 2023-24 & FY 2024-25

As part of the DPE’s performance evaluation system, Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Power (MoP) on October 23, 2023. 

Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Power, and Smt. Parminder Chopra (CMD, PFC) signed the MoU in the presence of top officials from the Ministry of Power and PFC. On a combined basis, PFC is India’s largest Maharatna CPSE and NBFC.

The MoU performance evaluation system utilized by DPE is used to create annual targets for the CPSEs on different financial and operational metrics, and the CPSE’s overall performance is rated against such MoU targets. 

PFC has received the highest rating of “Excellent” for the last two years (FY 2020-21 & FY 2021-22), and the rating for FY 2022-23 is expected soon.
