NTPC – Workshop on POSH Act 2013

POSH Act 2013 – Workplace Gender Sensitization and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Training Program On April 27, 2023, was held at NTPC Dulanga.

The training was divided into two sections. The first portion discussed a wide range of gender-related concerns, while the second half concentrated on the specifics of the POSH Act 2013.

The workshop included sexual harassment policies, preventative mechanisms, and service guidelines for a company’s employees.

The faculty also underlined the developments that led to the creation of the Vishakha rules, as well as the function of the Internal accusations Committee (ICC) in dealing with workplace sexual harassment accusations.

The training session was made interactive with several exercises in order for the attendees to have a better understanding. The seminar was attended by 100 personnel from the Coal Mining Region.
