New Holland Agriculture Launches Mobile Medical Dispensary

CNH Industrial’s New Holland Agriculture brand has created a mobile medical dispensary (MMD) in Pune, India. The dispensary will provide basic healthcare services to persons in need within a 35-40 km radius of the city as part of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) project. Every year, New Holland hopes to reach over 15,000 people.

The MMD, which will be run by Medihelp Foundation, will provide point-of-care diagnostics such as blood glucose testing and screening for hypertension and diabetes. It will continue to give assistance through monthly follow-up assessments and patient referrals as needed.

“New Holland Agriculture is committed to giving back to the communities surrounding our facilities, and our mobile medical dispensary is a step towards caring for the people who live there,” stated Kavita Sah, New Holland India CSR Lead. We are committed to delivering basic healthcare services to those in need through this project. We aspire to improve their lives and contribute to the general well-being of their communities.”

The MMD, which will be staffed by a doctor and a paramedic, is planned to visit around 20 settlements in the region. The effort is a continuation of New Holland Agriculture’s mobile ambulance project, which has been operating in 15 villages surrounding Greater Noida since 2016 and treats over 16,000 people each year.
