MGL reduces CNG and Domestic PNG price

MGL applauds the Government of India’s (GOI) decision to revise the pricing structure of domestically produced natural gas in order to encourage its use. This GOI action will help to expand natural gas consumption in the home and transportation sectors, which is another step toward making India cleaner and greener.

MGL has always been a customer-friendly organization, passing on any reductions in gas costs to its customers in order to encourage the use of natural gas. MGL decreased the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs. 2.5/Kg in February 2023.

In addition to the foregoing, MGL is glad to pass on the savings in domestic gas costs to its domestic PNG and CNG customers. As a result, CNG prices in and around Mumbai have been decreased by Rs. 8/Kg and Domestic PNG (DPNG) prices by Rs. 5/SCM.

The lowered MRP for CNG is now Rs.79.00/Kg, and the domestic PNG is Rs. 49.00/SCM, effective from midnight on April 7, 2023/morning on April 8, 2023.

MGL’s CNG presently offers excellent savings of around 49% and 16% as compared to petrol and diesel at current Mumbai prices. Furthermore, MGL’s Domestic PNG will provide users with unrivaled ease, safety, reliability, and environmental friendliness while saving around 21% off the present price of Domestic LPG.
