Mahindra Logistics acquisition of Meru Companies
Mahindra Logistics – Mahindra Logistics, a third-party logistics solution provider, announced on Friday that the closing requirements for Meru Mobility Tech Private Limited, V-Link Automotive Services Private Limited, and V-Link Fleet Solutions Private Limited’s full acquisition of paid-up share capital from Meru Travel Solutions Private Limited (MTSPL) are still being worked out.
According to the corporation, the project would be completed by the end of May 2022. The legalities were supposed to be completed by February 2022.
MMTPL, VASPL, VFSPL, and MTSPL will become wholly-owned subsidiaries of Mahindra Logistics and will continue to be M&M subsidiaries when the acquisitions are completed, according to the firm.
MTSPL is a holding company that works in the ride hail and corporate transportation solutions segments through its three wholly owned subsidiaries MMTPL, VASPL, and VFSPL.
Meru Companies refers to MTSPL, MMTPL, VASPL, and VFSPL as a group
The company plans to invest in Meru Companies with the goal of expanding its presence in the shared mobility space, consolidating ownership of the mobility business, and expanding its range of mobility solutions with a strategic focus on enterprise customers and electric mobility, according to the company.
