NEW DELHI, India – ISGEC – Two reactors constructed by L&T weighing around 1160 MT and 663 MT are being delivered through river route from Adani Port, Surat to NRL Jetty at Numaligarh Refinery Project site, making it one of the heaviest-ever consignments to be moved via National Waterways-2.
Another ISGEC reactor weighing 1160 MT was delivered a few days ago from Gujarat’s Dahej port. Meanwhile, the first ISGEC reactor, weighing 521MT, has arrived in Assam across the Brahmaputra and has arrived at Dhansiri Mukh near the NRL jetty.

This is an important step forward for the Company’s ongoing Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project. We thank M/s ISGEC and M/s L&T for their contributions to Atma Nirbhar Bharat in the form of producing these reactors, which were imported from Europe a few years ago.
NRL is also grateful to the Inland Waterways Authority of India for their essential assistance in establishing this one-of-a-kind waterways initiative.
