Livestreaming commerce platform Firework closes $150 million Series B funding
SoftBank Vision Fund 2 led a $150 million Series B round of funding for livestreaming commerce platform Firework. The funds will be used to “accelerate growth across a range of measures in pursuit of a bold, long-term vision to transform the digital world with its decentralized architecture,” according to the business.
Firework also plans to add more engineers, product managers, and marketers in the future, as well as improve the platform itself.
The corporation claims that “this investment will improve growth across markets, particularly in India.” Over the last 24 months, we’ve built a robust platform and business plan that has enabled us achieve customer success. The funding will not only enable us to continue growing these success stories, but will also ensure that Firework as a platform remains at the forefront of next-generation customer experience,” said Jeff Lucas, Firework’s Chief Revenue Officer.
