Over 55,000 children across India have received financial literacy instruction from “Kona Kona Shiksha,” according to a statement released today by Kotak Securities and its CSR partner, the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). The NISM is implementing the Kona Kona Shiksha CSR Project of Kotak Securities, which focuses on education and livelihood to encourage financial literacy among the nation’s schoolchildren. This CSR activity has been executed at 164 locations in India since its launch in July 2021, and 750 training programmes have already been held.
KSL’s CSR Project Kona Kona Shiksha is being implemented by NISM, which will train students through online teaching modules and resource individuals who have been appointed by KSL (kona kona of India).
The programme provides information to students on personal finance, the basics of investing in stocks, investment principles and practises, etc. The KSL CSR programme seeks to develop financially literate and talented students as well as to expand employment options in the financial services sector.
