The total cost of the venture Rs.17.50 crore.

The Union Minister likewise praised KIOCL’s endeavors in battling the pandemic by attempting to moderate the lack of beds in Government Hospitals. KIOCL had dispersed 100 beds for dealing with Covid patients for two government clinics in Dakshina Kannada District at Belthangady and Moodbidri. The organization spent around Rs. 18 lakh for giving the beds.

Appreciating KIOCL entering the field of solar energy for setting up a 5.0 MWac (6.5 MWp) Mw Solar Power plant in Tumkuru locale of Karnataka, he said this proposed task would uphold the National Solar Mission program of the public authority and communicated that the experience to broaden and grow KIOCL’s activity will set out work open doors and lift the economy. The expense of the plant is Rs 24.44 crore.
