Kempegowda International Airport recognized as best regional airport

On Friday, Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru BLR Airport, announced that it had won the 2022 Skytrax World Airport Awards category for best regional airport in India and South Asia. The survey measures the customer experience throughout airport service and crucial performance indicators, it added, including check-in, arrivals, transfers, shops, security, immigration, and departures at the gates. 
 
On Friday, Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru (BLR Airport) announced that it had won the 2022 Skytrax World Airport Awards category for best regional airport in India and South Asia.

According to a statement from BLR Airport, it received this honour after being voted the best airport for customer service in a global study that is done each year. 
 
The survey measures the customer experience throughout airport service and crucial performance indicators, it added, including check-in, arrivals, transfers, shops, security, immigration, and departures at the gates. 
 
On June 16, the awards event took place at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Paris, France. According to the statement, the ceremony is one of the most important quality awards for the airport industry, and CEOs, presidents, and senior management from airports all around the world were there.
