Karur Vysya Bank provides battery operated pushcarts

Karur Vysya Bank has supplied 33 battery-powered pushcarts to poor women in order for them to promote Aavin’s ice cream and other dairy goods.

This is a Rs. 40.00 lakhs CSR effort of the bank to create job possibilities for women.

The recipients were chosen in collaboration with the Government of Tamilnadu’s Departments of Women and Child Development and Adi dravidar and Tribal Welfare, as well as Aavin.

In the presence of Thiru S M Nasser, Minister for Dairy Development, Thiru Udayanidhi Stalin, Honourable Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Development, handed over the carts to the beneficiaries and waved off the carts.
