ITI Will Make 4G-5G Solutions in India, Partnering with TCS & Tech Mahindra – Government-owned telecommunication system manufacturer Indian Telephone Industries Limited or ITI is in discussion with Indian firms to supply end-to-end 4G and 5G network solutions within the country.
In talks with Tech Mahindra and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for an equivalent, 70-year plus old establishment announced that it was made during ITI’s latest annual general meeting with the deployment of 4G and 5G networks across India through equipment and infrastructure built within the country.
For the E and V band spectrum, considered essential for 4G and 5G technologies, ITI aims to initiate this by manufacturing items additionally, it plans to form enterprise-grade routers to enable secure data transfer within the defense and telecom service network is currently reported to be dominated by foreign players.
As state-of-art facilities and capabilities for manufacturing telecommunication system plans to manufacture eNodeB and 5G NR (new radio) products in its various plants,” ITI chairman and director R M Agarwal said within the report.
