ITI Limited and CDOT signs MoU for Transfer of 4G Technologies
ITI Limited, a PSU Manufacturing Telecom & Defense Equipment, and the Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a framework for cooperation of LTE/LTE-A/4G technology based Wireless Communication Systems that will provide networks of the upcoming technological developments, in order to supplement the country’s requirement of self-reliance in the area of telecommunication.
In accordance with this MoU, ITI Limited and CDoT will work together to develop a “Make in India” stack for the impending 4G and 5G opportunities in India. With more than 70 years of manufacturing experience, ITI Limited will produce the 4G Radio Access Network (RAN) and related equipment in accordance with the government’s “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” initiative.
ITI Limited will investigate potential to sell C-DOT LTE RAN/eNodeB systems in PSU, Railways, Defense, Export Markets, and other sectors.

In the presence of DOT officials led by Shri Harwesh Bhatia, Member (Services), Dr. Rajesh Sharma, DDG (SU), Shri Mukesh Mangal, DDG (SA-II), and Shri P K Singh, DDG, the MOU was exchanged between Shri D Venkateswarlu, Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Limited, and Shri Daniel Jebaraj, Director, C-DOT (SA).

We are natural partners to provide BSNL and other customers in India since CDOT is a reputable R&D centre of the nation and ITI Limited is a trustworthy telecom manufacturer of the nation. A strong working partnership for coordination and resource sharing will be created by the collaboration.
