Arun Misra, CEO/Director of HZL recognized as new Chairman of International Zinc Association

International Zinc Association Chairman – DURHAM, N.C.— Arun Misra, CEO/Full-Time Director of Hindustan Zinc Ltd, has been named as the new interim Chair of the International Zinc Association (IZA). Mr. Misra was recently chosen as the new Chair of the IZA Executive Committee, with a final decision by the IZA Board of Directors scheduled for October. 
Mr. Misra expressed his gratitude for being voted to the position and stated that he looked forward to assisting IZA in its efforts to develop long-term zinc markets and ensure the industry’s license to operate. 
Dr. Andrew Green, IZA’s Executive Director, stated, “Arun Misra has been a strong supporter of IZA’s work around the world, particularly in India. His leadership and experience will be invaluable to us, and I am looking forward to working with him to help IZA and the zinc sector navigate the global possibilities and challenges that lie ahead. I’d also like to express my gratitude to Marie Inkster, our previous Chair, for her exceptional direction and assistance over the last year.”
