IndianOil celebrates Swachhta Pakhwada with a competition

Swachhta Pakhwada – On July 10, 2022, residents of IndianOil Nagar in Noida and members of the Swajani Ladies Club participated in a special “Best from Waste” competition hosted by IndianOil’s Refineries Division Headquarters in New Delhi. The participants made handbags, serving trays, trash cans, picture frames, business folders, desk organizers, jewellery organizers, sets of paper-napkin holders, and coasters out of wastepaper, children’s school supplies, and old newspapers.

Mrs. Surekha Vaidya, advisor of Swajani Ladies Club and spouse of Chairman, IndianOil, praised the original idea and added that these creative products are a typical example of recycling garbage into a useable product. The artworks serve as a reminder that waste can be turned into art by using the right recycling methods and locating opportunities for reuse.
