Indian bank donates ambulance – On Tuesday, public sector Indian Bank announced that it has donated an emergency response ambulance to Bengaluru’s Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College and Research Institute. 
 
The action was taken as part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort, according to a press release. 
 
The keys to the ambulance were handed over by S L Jain, the bank’s MD and CEO, to Dr. Manoj Kumar H V, the Bengaluru institute’s Dean and Director. 
 
To deal with any situation coming from the COVID-19 versions, Jain stressed the importance of expanding the accessibility of health facilities. 
 
According to the announcement, he also added that Indian Bank has always been at the forefront of supporting the poor parts of society as part of its CSR operations and that the bank has sent ambulances to hospitals in Patna, Meerut, and Lucknow, in addition to Bengaluru.
