HUDCO to promote Hindi in 53 existing PSUs in Delhi

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has entrusted the responsibility of promoting Hindi in 53 existing Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in Delhi to the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) through the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Delhi (PSU)-2.

HUDCO efficiently organized the biannual TOLIC meeting in New Delhi, led by Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha, President of TOLIC and Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO. The session, attended by approximately 170 participants, including heads of offices and representatives from the designated 53 PSUs, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the progress of Hindi implementation in these PSUs.

The meeting also featured the esteemed presence of notable individuals, such as Shri S.R. Narasimhan, Chairman and Managing Director of Grid Controller of India Limited; Shri M Nagaraj, Director (Corporate Planning), HUDCO; Shri Ajay Gupta, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Textile, Government of India; Shri D. Guhan, Director (Finance) at HUDCO; and Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Managing Director of BIRAC. The event focused on discussing ongoing initiatives and progress in promoting Hindi in the designated PSUs.
