HDFC Bank branches – 7 in Puducherry

Puducherry: HDFC Bank branches – The first all-branch women’s of HDFC Bank, India’s largest bank, has opened there, the bank stated today. There will be 5 female bankers at the White Town branch. The Bank already has branches in southern India that are exclusively for women. It advances the natural diversity and inclusion values of the bank. Smt. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, the honorable governor of Telangana, and the honorable lieutenant governor of Puducherry inaugurated the branch. 
 
Mr. Sathish, Regional Head, Human Resource, Mr. Balaji Krishnamachary, Circle Head, Trichy Circle, Mr. Shanmugam J, Cluster Head, Pondicherry, and Mr. Shanmugam J, Cluster Head, were additional dignitaries from the bank.

In order to improve gender diversity, HDFC Bank is promoting diversity and inclusion inside the company. Women made up 21.7% of the workforce as of March 31, 2022, and the goal is to raise that number to 25% by 2025.
