Haryana: Rs 1.4K crore spent on CSR in 3 yrs

Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has directed administrative secretaries, heads of departments (HODs), and Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to submit potential projects from their respective departments eligible for implementation under the CSR at a meeting held today.

Kaushal divided CSR projects/initiatives into two categories based on their execution and completion timelines. Projects in category I can be implemented within the current fiscal year (by March 31, 2024). Those in category II are those that can be completed in one to two years and will be implemented in stages.

According to Kaushal, Haryana led the region in CSR spending over the last three years, with Rs 1,457.13 crore spent, while education received Rs 538.85 crore.

All government departments and districts can submit prospective CSR projects to the Haryana State CSR Trust (HSCSRT) via a dedicated web portal (haryanacsr.org).
