GRSE Celebrates Raising Day

Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), India’s largest warship manufacturing business and a Mini Ratna Category 1 Defence PSU, marked its 64th Raising Day on April 19, 2023, with grandeur and excitement.

In the presence of Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd), Chairman and Managing Director, Shri RK Dash, Director (Finance), Cdr Shantanu Bose, IN (Retd.), Director (Shipbuilding), Shri Mihir Kumbhakar, CVO, and senior officials of GRSE, all sections of GRSE employees participated wholeheartedly and enthusiastically in the Raising Day event.

Cmde PR Hari commemorated the anniversary by releasing ‘GRSE Varta 2023,’ the Shipyard’s annual In-house Journal. The award event began with the presentation of merit awards to employees’ children, and employees were recognized for their outstanding performance in a variety of categories. Various cultural events were also performed by employees and their family members throughout the celebration.
