Google collaborates with Axis My India to create multilingual super-app ‘a’

Axis My India

Google Cloud has collaborated with Axis My India to create a multilingual super-app ‘a’ that would provide customers a variety of services in multiple languages. The app will be available on both Android and iOS devices when it is released in early 2024.

The AI and machine learning capabilities of Google Cloud will be used to power the super-app. As a result, the app will be able to learn from user behavior and deliver more personalized recommendations.

On mobile cellphones, the bilingual super app ‘a’ will provide information on government social assistance schemes, basic daily utilities, career opportunities, and healthcare benefits.

“With the power of Google Cloud infrastructure, Axis My India will scale the reach of ‘a’ to reach every Indian, whether they live in rural or urban areas.” “Gen AI from Google Cloud will also enable Axis My India to not only match user queries with the most relevant and personalized government information in real time, and in the language they speak,” Google said in a blog post.

“Through our platform, Axis My India’s extensive reach and expertise provide us with an unprecedented opportunity to bring information equity between rural and urban India.” This free software will serve as a “Guide to Every Citizen,” he stated.

“With Google’s GenAI and cutting-edge tools, we are poised to help India’s farmers navigate the digital commerce landscape, increasing their visibility and accelerating their path to success.” ONDC and Google Cloud are thrilled to be at the forefront of this transformative journey,” said T Koshy, MD & CEO of ONDC.
