Goodyear India partners with Fortis Escorts Hospital to improve pediatric healthcare

Goodyear India – Sudhir Vaijanapurkar, Plant Director, Goodyear Plant at Ballabgarh, Faridabad, and Yogesh Gupta, HR Manager, Goodyear Plant at Ballabgarh, Faridabad, along with Dr. Ajay Dogra, Facility Director, Fortis Escorts Hospital, and Jitender Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad, were present at the Upgraded Paediatric Unit. 
 
As part of its yearly CSR programme, Goodyear India has partnered with Fortis Escorts Hospital in Faridabad. This collaboration intends to upgrade the pediatric ward to a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit by providing extra equipment (PICU). This programme aims to improve the healthcare system for children in order to provide them with better, more modern treatment. Goodyear has undertaken many actions and projects that benefit the environment and people as part of its CSR initiatives. 
 
Goodyear India is assisting the hospital by supplying crucial equipment for the treatment of children as part of this cooperation. Patient Beds, Hydraulic Stretchers, Syringe Pumps, Video Laryngoscope Kits, Ventilators, Central Stations for Monitoring Patient Beds, Portable Color Doppler Ultrasound Systems, ECG Machines, and other items are among them. The equipment was purchased by Goodyear India and delivered to the childcare unit, which caters to the needs of young patients. 
 
The improved PICU was launched in the hospital grounds by Jitender Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad, in accordance with COVID-19 norms. The ceremony was attended by Anil Vinayak, Fortis Healthcare’s Group Chief Operating Officer; Sudhir Vaijanapurkar, Goodyear India Ltd.’s Manufacturing Director; Yogesh Gupta, Goodyear India Ltd.’s Plant Head HR; and other key stakeholders.
