Garware Hi-Tech Films gets listed
Garware Hi-Tech Films – Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd. (GHFL), a specialist polyester filmmaker, floated its shares on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday. Previously, the company’s stock was only traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The move, according to the company, is intended to boost investor participation and shareholder value.
“After launching new product lines, re-branding our products, and changing the company’s name to align with our new vision and growth strategy, the next logical step was to list on NSE, India’s premier stock exchange,” Monika Garware, Vice-Chairperson, and Jt. Managing Director, GHFL, said at the NSE listing ceremony.
“The NSE listing will provide an additional venue for new investors to join in GHFL’s growth trajectory, increasing investor participation and increasing value for all shareholders,” she said.
Garware Hi-Tech Films, formerly known as Garware Polyester Ltd, is the flagship company of the Garware Group.
The company’s “state-of-the-art” manufacturing facilities in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, produce Hi-Tech specialty performance polyester films. The company claims to be “the pioneer and one of the largest exporters of Polyester Films in India, and the recipient of top exporters’ awards for continuous 33 years from PLEXCOUNCIL,” according to an official statement.
