NTPC hands over 50 three-seater benches to Gandhi Hospital

Hyderabad: As part of its CSR initiatives, NTPC-Southern Region Headquarters in Hyderabad gave 50 three-seater benches to Gandhi Hospital for a cost of Rs 3.9 lakh, continuing its efforts to improve healthcare services for the underprivileged. 
 
At a ceremony held at the SRHQ office in Hyderabad on Friday, the benches were presented to the chief guest Shri Naresh Anand, Regional Executive Director (South), NTPC. 
 
Anand, who spoke at the event, emphasized the various CSR initiatives being carried out by NTPC and expressed his hope that these benches would greatly benefit the patients while enhancing the hospital’s ambiance. 
 
Dr. M. Raja Rao, Additional DME and Superintendent, Gandhi Hospital, discussed current trends and the precautions needed, particularly for vulnerable groups, to combat Covid-19 during the event.
