BSL organized Free mega medical camp

BSL – The CSR Department of the Bokaro Steel Plant hosted a one-day free Mega Medical Camp at Uttrit Middle School in Agardih. Pediatrician Dr. Nitendra Kumar, Gynecologist Dr. Amrita Pritam, Dr. Hema, General Practitioner Dr. Santosh Choubey, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Dentist Dr. Neelam Kumari, Ophthalmologist Dr. Sushil Kumar, Dr. Pranay Kumar, and Pharmacist Mithlesh Kumar were all present in this camp. 25 patients were chosen and sent to BGH for cataract surgery out of the total 229 patients who were treated in the camp. It is interesting that in addition to blood testing, other examinations and medications were provided gratis throughout the camp. In addition, RK Dutta treated 48 patients with acupressure and suggested they visit Sarva Swasthya Kendra.

The culprit in the five tuberculosis cases has been identified by the National Tuberculosis Eradication Team’s “TB Harega – Desh Jeetega” Mission, which has made India TB free. In particular, Ashok Kumar, (Assistant Manager) CSR Department, Suraj Chandra Tiwari, Gaurav Mishra, and Santosh Kumar, together with the Piramal Swasthya Mobile Medical Unit team, played key roles in the camp’s effective organising. On the anniversary of the completion of 75 years of independence, the camp was organised as part of the Amrit Mahotsav.
