Erode Government School in Tamil Nadu receives Rs 1.5 crore donation under Namma School Scheme

AliceBlue Financial Services Private Limited gave INR 1.5 crores to an Erode government school under the Namma School Scheme, a historic development for education in the region. The substantial gift aims to improve educational infrastructure, improve learning resources, and foster a more welcoming environment for both students and educators. 

Because the Senior Secondary School only has 12 classrooms, Alice Blue expressed its willingness to construct nine classrooms, toilets, and compound walls for the school under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and approvals were obtained from the authorities concerned. 

Mr. Sidhavelayutham M, the company’s Chief Executive Officer and a native of Poondurai Semur village in Modakkurichi taluk, school headmaster N. Rajesh, officials from the Samagra Shiksha scheme department, Parents Teachers Association president Subramanian, School Management Committee president Mahalakshmi, Councillors and parents laid the foundation stone on December 24, 2023.

AliceBlue also gave smart boards, PCs, printers, and other goods to 32 government schools in the district in April 2023, at a cost of approximately Rs 1.5 crore. 

With its objective of bringing about positive change in government schools, the Namma School Scheme has been a driving force behind various influential programs across the country. This donation to the Erode government school demonstrates the scheme’s dedication to promoting educational growth and uplifting communities through affordable and high-quality education.
