Emami Limited is now into the pet care business
Emami Limited, a large FMCG company, stated on Thursday that it has invested an unknown amount in a startup company for a 30% share in the pet care sector.
The corporation made it clear that it is not involved in the pet food market, which is the main source of revenue for the multi-billion dollar sector.
Emami Limited announced that it had purchased a 30% investment in Cannis Lupus Services India, the company that owns the Fur Ball Story brand.
More people are buying house pets, especially dogs, as disposable income rises. According to Emami Limited Vice-Chairman & Managing Director Harsha V Agarwal, they are also looking for the finest therapy for common illnesses suffered by their pet children, particularly in the form of ayurvedic and herbal medicines.
He stated in a statement that “Fur Ball Story” offers special ayurvedic goods for the welfare of pets and satisfies increasing consumer wants and desires.
The corporation has made no additional disclosures.
