Painting Competition on Energy Conservation

Painting Competition on Energy Conservation – Energy conservation is becoming increasingly important for the entire human race, and a painting competition provides an excellent opportunity to introduce the concepts of environmental responsibility to our country’s young citizens and encourage them to engage their intellect in creating relevant visuals.

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), as the nodal CPSU tasked by the Ministry of Power, GoI, conducted the State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation for the state of West Bengal at DVC Towers on November 16, 2023. Around 100 pupils from the fifth to tenth grades competed in the Group A (V-VII) and Group B (VIII-X) divisions.

The topics were as follows: “One Earth, Many Efforts” & “LiFE- Mindful and Deliberate Utilization, instead of Mindless and Destructive Consumption” . The three winning candidates from each group will advance to the national level competition, which will be held in New Delhi.
