Having won two gold medals at the IUKL (International Union of Kettlebell Lifting) Championships held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi from July 27 to October 31, Dr Payal Kanodia, a Trustee for the M3M Foundation, once again brought honour to her nation. In one of the largest kettlebell competitions ever staged by India, 250+ athletes competed from 15 different nations, including 45 Indian athletes.
Dr Payal Kanodia won two gold medals: one for the snatch competition, in which she hoisted a 16-kg kettlebell, and another for the biathlon competition in the 68-kg weight division. She had an injury during the tough training sessions, but she didn’t lose sight of her objective.
The trustee of the M3M Foundation, a charitable organization that promotes the environment, education, health, and general well-being of the populace, is Dr Payal Kanodia, a native of Tauru, Haryana.
It was wonderful to see the support for kettlebell in India, and I’m pleased to see how this sport is becoming more well-known there. I also want to thank KSIA for their hospitality. Igor Soldov, president of the IUKL, said.

Being a part of the inaugural IUKL competition hosted in India was a thrilling experience.
