Dell Laptops emerges as India’s most desired brand

Dell Laptops – According to a survey conducted by consumer insights and brand analytics firm Trust Research Advisory, the world’s largest manufacturer of computer hardware, Dell Laptops, has become the most popular brand in India (TRA). In the list announced on Tuesday, Dell is followed by other Indian and international goliaths like MI, Samsung, BMW, Titan, and Bata.

Adidas, a maker of shoes, showed the biggest increase in popularity among the 40 brands on the list. From 329 in 2021 to 23rd place in 2022, it advanced 306 positions. Maruti Suzuki, a Japanese automaker, too had a significant loss in its ability to stand out among Indian consumers as it fell 24 positions, from 15 in 2021 to 39 in 2022.

Notably, Life Insurance Corporation, which debuted on the stock market this year and is listed on the National Stock Exchange, climbed 20 spots this year to take up position 10.

The CEO of TRA Research, N Chandramouli, stated during the report’s release that the two years of COVID-19 have significantly altered consumer preferences and attitudes. “Consumer want is the most significant indicator of a consumer’s interest in a brand since it assesses the strong psychological, social, and cultural pulls on a consumer’s mind. Desire is sometimes hard to change since it is ingrained so deeply, but many firms made excellent use of the Covid era by forging new connections with customers, the author continued.

Numerous Indian start-ups were also included on the list, including the Peyush Bansal-founded Lenskart, the finance player PhonePe, the delivery service Blinkit, the lifestyle brand boAT, and others. Traditional ice cream manufacturers like Naturals Ice Cream and NIC Honestly Natural Ice Cream also made the list.

Every year, the TRA releases its list. The list includes the top 1000 brands in India as determined by a thorough study of 2,509 consumer influencers in 16 Indian locations.
