CSR: ZEEL donates 20 ambulances, 4000 PPE kits to Rajasthan – Whether it’s a superpower America or a developing nation India, the corona epidemic has brought the whole world to its knees as each is bearing the brunt of COVID-19.

As a responsible corporate organization, Essel Group has always fulfilled its social obligations and is trying to assist people and governments in their effort to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Keeping in line with its corporate social responsibilities (CSR) ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) has come to the fore to assist the state of Rajasthan in these difficult times of COVID-19 as said by Puneet Goenka director and CEO of Zee Entertainment, donated 20 ambulances and 4,000 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to the Rajasthan Chief Minister at his residence.

Within the presence of Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot flagged of all 20 ambulances along with Minister of State for Medicine Subhash Garg, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara and Zee Entertainment, MD and CEO Puneet Goenka, Chief Secretary Rajiv Swaroop for all the support.

The current active Covid cases in Rajasthan stand at 17,775 while the amount of individuals recovered is 1,62,981 as the Zee Media CEO Purushottam Vaishnava was also present during the occasion. The state has also reported 1,814 deaths.

The national level CSR drives towards enhancing India’s healthcare infrastructure and further strengthening its fight against coronavirus its CSR policy the corporate had promised to supply 200+ ambulances to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, 40,000+ PPE kits to municipal corporations across India, and municipal corporations, 50 High Flow Heated Respiratory Humidifiersto create 100+ ICU units with state-of-the-art tech support in India.
