CSR: PNB donates emergency vehicle to Bhaoroa Deoras Sewa Nyas – Punjab National Bank (PNB), donated an emergency vehicle to Bhaoroa Deoras Sewa Nyas as a contribution of a CSR initiative, by the nation’s leading public sector bank, The vehicle is to be employed by the Nyas for the assistance of sick persons and their families who visit Delhi for treatment at AIIMS.

As Dr. Harsh Vardhan, the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Science and Technology, and Earth Sciences, alongside CH SS Malikarjuna Rao, director and Chief military officer handed over the key to the Trust.

Appreciating PNB’s contribution, Union Minister described how the Bank has always been supportive of governments’ initiative in serving the society. In these current times, these vehicles play a critical role and will serve more people that need urgent care with none delay.

PNB’s numerous steps just like the donation to PM Cares fund and organizing nationwide CSR campaigns of distributing masks and sanitizers are appreciable. I congratulate PNB for his or her constant contribution towards fighting this pandemic. I’m confident that with the collective efforts of all, we shall overcome this phase also.

CH SS Malikarjuna Rao, director, and Chief military officer said, “The health and safety of our people is one among our top priorities, especially during these difficult times. PNB has always been at the forefront to support the community at large by ensuring commitment towards giving back to society. I assure that PNB, as a responsible and empathetic institution, will still contribute towards such missions within the future too, for the progress of the state and Nearly 10 lakh masks and sanitizers in 662 districts of the country through its 10,000 branches to combat COVID-19 was distributed by PNB as a mark of reference to Galwan Valley’s martyrs, PNB honored the martyr’s family on the eve of the 74th Independence Day.

The bank has also felicitated meritorious students and used the revered day of 5th September, i.e., Shikshak Diwas, to honor ten thousand renowned teachers for his or her immense contribution to society. PNB also donated 40 lakhs to PM CARES fund under the Digital Apnayen Campaign, along with The Gram Sampark Yojna on Oct 2 for providing various banking facilities in rural and semi-urban areas.
