CSR: JSPL Foundation observes World Toilet Day – To tackle the worldwide sanitation crisis and to realize Sustainable Development Goal 6, World Toilet Day is about inspiring action which promises sanitation for all by 2030.

The field functionaries of JSPL Foundation alongside Anganwadi Workers & therefore the representative of Water & Sanitation Mission sensitized Adolescent girls on the advantage of the use of Toilet and the way it addresses the general health status of the family.

The girls were also encouraged to be the change maker of the society by motivating their relations and community to use toilets for a healthier life. They were also demonstrated about hand and hand hygiene by BRC, Swachha Bharat Mission (Gramin), Banarapal, which is a crucial aspect of private Hygiene related to the utilization of Toilets.

In this many Water and Sanitation project always sensitizes school children, adolescent girls, and Community members about hygienic practices. quite 50,000 adolescent girls are being sensitized per annum about the utilization of toilets, soap and water, and proper procedure of handwashing through its dedicated project “Kishori Express”.

During the occasion, JSPL Foundation distributed Liquid Handwash bottles manufactured by Women Self-Help Groups, and every one of the participants vowed to spread the message of the importance of World Toilet Day among their nearby areas of District Water and Sanitation Mission, ICDS and JSPL Foundation facilitated the program.
