CSR: Hitachi Air Conditioning India Supports COVID Warriors in Gujarat – With an endeavor to support the Gujarat Government and to empower the medical fraternity within the fight against coronavirus, Johnson Controls- Hitachi aircon India Limited has distributed 3900 masks to the Civil Hospital, Mehsana and first Health Centre (PHC) in Karan Nagar.

Medical facilities and frontline warriors in Gujarat are working around the clock to fight the pandemic. they’re at a better risk of getting infected by the deadly virus. to stay our frontline warriors safe, Johnson Controls-Hitachi air-con India Limited has distributed N-95 masks, 414 masks, and surgical masks to the medical facilities treating COVID-19 patients within the region.

The CSR team met with Dr. H. N. Parmar who is that the Chief District medic & Civil Surgeon at Civil Hospital, Mehsana, and donated N-95 (1000 Nos.) Mask, Surgical Mask (2000Nos.) and 414 (200 Nos.) Mask. Dr. Parmar expressed his gratitude on behalf of the whole hospital facility. Civil Hospital, Mehsana is one of the few medical facilities within the region which is treating corona patients. With 50 beds and 300 staff, this hospital is fighting day and night against the pandemic.

In addition to the present, the corporate donated N-95 (200 Nos.) Mask and Surgical Mask (500Nos.) to the first Health Centre in Karan Nagar village.

A part of the company’s CSR initiative, this activity is one among many other activities the corporate has initiated to combat COVID-19. Recently, the corporate had introduced Mobile Primary Health Centre (PHC) through its fully kitted ambulance with two medical specialists and a paramedic which is traveling within the rural hinterland to deal with the medical needs of individuals at their doorstep thus mitigating the danger of exposing elderlies and pregnant women especially to the danger of COVID 19.

On one hand, we are providing medical specialists in these areas to feature strength to the local healthcare system and on the opposite hand, we are supporting our hospitals, doctors, and other medical staff by providing them various specialized masks for his or her protection. it’s a troublesome battle against an invisible enemy and that we all need to contribute to the utmost of our potential for our future.”
